I take some issue with your recommendation that a job seeker needs to pay a lot of money for a resume. I agree that you get what you pay for, but what about job seekers in their 20s and 30s who don't have much money to begin with? For people who struggle with writing, who have a difficult time being comfortable with selling themselves on paper, or even for those who have learning disabilities that weren't 100 percent overcome in school, using a less expensive resume writer may actually be a better option.

Lea, while it's definitely true that somewhere out there there may be great writers who undercharge for their services, in my experience that's usually not the case. I don't understand why you feel the people you listed deserve less than the best. I do understand financial constraints and that's why I created a free site just to help people write their own resume, but I hate to see people being ripped off by sub-standard resume writers and I see it every day. Just as you wouldn't choose a doctor because he was the cheapest, I don't see how it makes sense to choose a writer based on price.
